Songs for me...

They need to hook me at the beginning... They need something strong, some sort of hype, some energy, something new to bring me in.

Then, they need to keep me.

You, my friend... earned a download within 20 seconds. Well done. :)

The epic squeaking strings did great work, and made things very serene and ethereal, and the constant whining synth in the background did its job as well. Great melody, and everything was kept together to its theme. It was all calm, it was all cool...
and it was all epic. 10/10, 5/5. Thanks for this gem!

Thanx! :D
I appreciate your review and i'm glad that you enjoyed it! =)
My earlier submissions are much the same, check it out if you want more! =)

Um...

Lyrics are good.

However, the atonal rapping melody is FAR more suited to Super Sonic Racing than it is to His World. (By the way, already reviewed said remix, it is awesome).

The orchestral mix of this particular remix would probably be better than the original, or if you added some sort of melody to your rap.

PaulyBFromDa303 responds:

That's actually not a bad idea. Something a little different. I'll have to try that on my next one (if I ever try rapping again LOL).

Thanks for the review

Hangin on the fence.

Wondering if the song is fast enough for me to listen to.

Then you got past the intro and managed to break the tie.

With a unanimous "Yes!" this song gets a 10/10. I wish it were faster, but we can't ALL have the fast His World mixes, now can we?

xoshaow3 responds:

i can make it faster if ya want lol... next update will be increased speed.. and maybe more things. Thanks for comment and opinions xD

LOL!!

My friend... you have made of yourself an awesomeness as of yet unheard of by Bill Gates.

I don't care how out of synch it is, it sounds epic. Makes me laugh at windows. :D
Odd, since i'm a PC.... but oh well.

DeltaPhoenix responds:

Thank you for all those fine words :D <3

I'm hoping...

That i'll listen to this song more often than i listen to Solaris Phase 2. Lol.

This song is beautiful compared to the original.
Too slow compared to His World though.

...still downloading tho... *hides from His World fans*

apivotmaneh responds:

i think i will make a faster one soon. but i think i will keep it like this, because i wanted to make a remix slower than the original. and, thanks you like it!

Agreed.

I'm very hard on intros. VERY HARD. I was tempted to hit the back button until i read the review below that said it was a slow start.

Improve the intro, please... But for the middle's sake, you still get your 10,5 rating.

I might just cut off the beginning when i go to listen to it though. :D

afgc55 responds:

I don't even think I have the original file for this anymore, never mind the will to actually do anything about fixing it.

Haven't even heard the original.

And you wanna know why i'm giving it a 10?

A) Awesomeness. Right there, just awesomeness.
B) You got my head nodding to the beat. Not a lot of music does that.
C) Downloaded, putting it on my phone.
D) I can't find anything wrong.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

PaulyBFromDa303 responds:

Hey thanks a lot. That's enough of a reason right? I appreciate it ^.^

Definately great.

And i don't say that for a lot of things.
And let me also add that it's not something i'd listen to normally and i'm saying it's awesome. That's a rare honor. Cherish that... I don't give it often. :)

Keep beating, my friend. Keep on beating.

PS: Username is awesome. I just like the word Solus :D

SolusLunes responds:

I will cherish that, my friend (also Golden Sun yay!)

Sorry, man...

I've heard some remixes of this, and i gotta say it just doesn't live up to them...

From the original, i got the intenseness, i got the creepy... Here, it's just too quiet and too... not intense, i can't find any other way to describe it. I don't get the feeling of urgency like i do with the original.

If you increase the intensity of the overdrive guitar, it would definately help.
6.5/10, 7 because i need to round and .5 goes to 1. Not bad, but just not quite right in my mind.

speedmetalmessiah responds:

Hmm, the volume seems fine in Cubase. Try turning your speakers up for that part? As for the intense feeling in the guitars, I thought the tone and overall feel of them was decent. I'll think on it some more though. Thanks for the review Isaac.

If you call this butchering...

Then i want you to start remixing more songs!!!

Quick questions...
A) what do you use to get the low synthesized notes? What program, i mean.
B) What are your plans for your new song? I reccommend you butcher One Winged Angel next, followed by the boss theme of FF7. After that, you can move on to Brave Warrior from the same. (Nanaki's theme)

KEEP GOING!!

Quarl responds:

I use reason 4 to make all the sounds, and I was really thinking one winged angel mit compliment the dnb sound a little better.

Im a dude. I like to watch funny things on Newgrounds. I write stories in my spare time. Also play videogames. Now i use FL Studio to make some music.
